The 750i should have come in with lower numbers. I guess the test times are due to the way they tested the cars and probably wasn't done the exact same way. If I recall correctly, in the video clip where they tested the 750Li they mentioned that they turned traction control off and that they manually shifted through the gears to get that time. So I assume that for the 750i they let the automatic do the shifting for them as that time is pretty much what BMW quoted for this model.

Nonetheless, still amazing numbers considering the size and weight of these cars!
my 750i seems to be really quick. I would imagine that with the car in DS, sport plus, only me in the car - it can do 0-60 in 4.8-4.9. my m5 does it in about 4.3 - so a half second behind with all the weight is amazing. go turbo go...
