I think the current cradle is only for the phone, not for music. I forget if it was on this forum or bimmerfest, but it showed the full music/phone cradle is coming soon. I guess the current cradle was just a temporary fix. It's beyond why it took BMW almost a year to come out with a half a**ed cradle.
