Back in the day, "car guys" used to do stuff to our cars to make them perform better, to go faster.
Anyone who intentionally did something that made it perform
worse in order to look better while standing still was considered a shallow, superficial poser, the least respected form of life on the gearhead ladder. Now, that is something to aspire to ?
