I'm sure the M obsessed lunatics will ignore it but the "pretend M" division sure is knocking out some great cars. Fast but comfortable, powerful but practical.
And with the revised output, the 0-60 is now 3.5sec claimed (0-62 - 3.7sec). Still many months before the car goes on sale so this may drop even more, but official tests will probably have the car in the 2.9-3.2sec range with 1/4 mile in the low 11's with trap speeds above 125...
Trap speed above 125? I will have to see it to believe it.
We'll see soon. The S8+ is almost there and relies on overboost to achieve traps over 121. The B7 is torque limited by the transmission rating at lower revs but still has more over all torque in every gear and similar curb weight. The ///M760i will be interesting. It has a heafty weight penalty, but has more torque from a lower rpm and isn't limited by the transmission in any gear.
