Yeah, he offered to switch cars for a stint... but I passed, because as you mentioned it is unfortunately an R-Tronic. He does know how to drive a manual, but as his previous weekend car was an R35 GT-R (DCT only) and the daily is a BMW F16 X6 (8AT only), I don't think it occurred to him to look for one with the gated manual.
As for mine, OF COURSE it is 1/1200 with the TR6060 6MT
