BMW pulled out all the stops in revealing the F01 7-series in Moscow

BMW had this 7-series inside this 40 foot hourglass, hidden in 180,000 balls for two days. On the night of July 8th, BMW emptied the top of the hourglass to reveal the car to 400 invited guests.

The dramatic unveiling in Russia was to demonstrate the event's slogan of "Never stand still"

We did at one time. It was the short film series, The Hire, that starred Clive Owen. That was a hell of a marketing campaign, especially the Madonna/Guy Ritchie M5 episode. Additionally, the Ultimate Drive should not go unnoticed nor unappreciated.

In this age of globalization, at present time, the wealth of the world is shifting to the eastern hemisphere. Advertising budgets are naturally following. This story reminds me of the huge M 1.5 acre billboard BMW threw up in Russia recently.

just a slight correction, this is not Siberia. Its a center of Moscow.

and russias rich for regualr rides really do like their bimmers... and 7 im sure will be popular as well.
