It started at 9:50AM PST....
I have seen the car in person and it looks better than on screen.

As expected (and in my opinion) it looks horrible. I don't like the massive X5 style front end and the fact that the headlights connect to the grills.
Do not like the squiggly front lights too. I still don't understand what they are supposed to represent? Pains me to say it, but the S Class is miles better looking...in my opinion.

It took me a while to warm up to the new X5. But this new 7? This is gorgeous. |

I like the new 7. I had a 2012 750Li and loved it, I was hoping they didn't get too creative with the exterior. The new design is conservative, driver focused, and lighter. I'm sure it's much lighter and nimble compared to the S-Class. The shape is more masculine conspired to Merc.
The new interior is amazing. Might have to trade in the 6GC for a 750 M-Sport.

The front end is the worst.[Ugh those headlights].I can live with the rest of the car.Is that the best they could give us.Its better looking than the present one except those headlights.I am sorry but in the looks dept this can't compete with the S class. But then I didn't buy the 7 for looks.
That chief designer seems to be very good at talking bullshit. Its really hard to talk extensively about something this lame. |

Hey, its not bad actually. Looks pretty good, I especially like that aggressive ridge on the side of the car where the door handles are. Obviously the M-sport is easily the best version, and looks really serious! Of course it isn't design perfection, but it isn't as boring as anticipated.

The grills very much resemble the CSL concept grills. The car has some great technology but the overall design with all this chrome everywhere is very disappointing to me.

Yes exactly. How much bigger are kidney grills going to get on BMW's? This is the only thing I don't like about the G11 7. The rest of the car looks great. The Kidney Grills are entirely too big though.
