North Texas sports blues

Stars are becoming very inconsistent, Rangers are primed to tank, Mavs are currently tanking, and who knows what to expect from the Cowboys. Tough year to be a sports fan in the DFW area.
Plus, I hate the Rockets (NBA best record) and really like the Spurs also (may not make the playoffs for the 1st time in 20 years).
I do feel good for the Astros. but they beat my Dodgers to accomplish their goal. UGH!

I have never understood how the mavs have never been able to sign a star free agent. I think the boys will be a playoff team next year. They have some great talent. If they can avoid distractions they will be fine.

I still can't grasp that the Stars.. are no longer the Minnesota North Stars.

The Stars are out. Very depressing. Mavs suck. Spurs are seemingly without Kawhi. Rangers are confirmed to suck (they're betting on being good in 2 years, when the new stadium is ready). Go Cowboys?

Us Detroit sports fans have it tough now too. It hasn't been this bad in decades. Of the 4 major teams the Lions are the closest to winning anything...let that sink in.

At least Michigan and MSU football/basketball have had their decent years.

No I just meant that both schools have had their fair share of success in both sports. MSU fell off in football last season and Michigan continues to underachieve, but still they have decent years.

Basketball is better for both as of late, although Izzo always loses to the big dogs.
