Telephone Cradle Removal

Gentlemen:

Is there absolutely any way to remove the telephone cradle in the compartment below the center armrests? Not just the pop off cover for the hardware, which is in place when a Smartphone not connected, but the entire unit that articulates up to a 90 degree angle from the hinge.

Please advise.

Also, Does anyone have a non-US spec F01/02 that DOES NOT have 4-zone climate control? If so, PLEASE post a picture of the storage compartment below the center armrests. I'm willing to bet that there is more room in there than cars that have the rear controls (all US cars).

I think you can remove the holder for the snap in adapter. I'll have a look tomorrow and let you know.

Sorry, I don't think you can easily remove it unless you take part of the center console apart to disconnect the cable that connects the cradle to the console.

Other than a microfiber cloth, my sunglasses and the 64GB USB memory stick for my music. I don't really keep anything else in there...

If you have the Li, then you have the F02!

Ha. Yes. You're right, but somehow I still have the urge to refer to the 2009+ 7 Series as F01, all encompassing. Sorry.
