Front Lip
I was looking to add a front lip to my 7 and I was wondering if anyone has tried this product?
http://dtmfiberwerkz.com/access/seri...ont-p-582.html Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. |

Yes I know it looks nice. I'm concerned about the quality of the product and how well it fits.

I was looking at the same spoiler and there's some people with other products from this company who reported horror stories, just google "dtm fiberwerkz quality" and you'll find some posts.
Imo I wouldn't put cheap aftermarket spoilers on a 100k, I went with the Alpina lip which is OEM but thing is a you do have to cut the OEM bumper for the Alpina lip to fit. |

That's what I was afraid of. I really like the Alpina lip, but I noticed they mold their name into the lip, which I really don't like. Do they have a version which doesn't stamp their name all over it?

Even if they had one, you wouldn't want to pay that price anyway u have to wonder about a product that is half the price of anything that looks comparable

I saw the vorsteiner lip, but they finish it with some shiny finish which doesn't look good. Not to many options for this car. All I want is a lip!!!!

I'm sure you can agree
I'm thinking of getting the Alpina and just get the Alpina etching filled in or sanded down and then repainted. It's by far the nicest looking lip, I just can't figure out why they have to put their badge all over it. Last edited by markymarc1979; 11-29-2012 at 09:43 AM.. |
