Clicking noise

Ive recently noticed at very low speeds, like in a drive thru, a clicking noise as I move forward slowly. Anyone have any ideas or experience. Could it be something with the brakes?

Not a stone in the tyre tread? Only noticed with your window open in the Drive Through?

I can only hear it with the window open. I thought I may have seen a nail in the tire a while back, but wasn't sure. It's a pretty loud noise, so u really think something in the tread would make that noise? Thanks

Surprising how loud a stone or nail in the tyre can be with your window open. Have a look at your tyres! Or see if you can take a video with the sound captured so we can have a proper diagnosis!

So I haven't worried about it for a while now, but finally got around to taking it to the dealership. I have 21" non run flat wheels on the car. Neither the tech nor myself could see anything in the tire (I previously thought I had a nail, but I guess not). The tech basically told me it's not a big deal and shouldn't be anything major and just deal with it. I proceeded to rip him a new one for telling me to deal with an annoying sound coming from my $118k BMW. He then said I could bring it back and they would have to put it on the lift, as I had just stopped in unannounced. I will keep u posted when I take it back in

Justified in ripping him....

Does it coincide with tire rotation or engine speed?

Loose caliper, lug nut, center cap, wheel bearing, or if in sync w/ engine speed could be belt, idler, etc.

Easiest and most likely would be something in tire.

My guess is either something I can't see in the tire or something is loose around the tire. It def comes from driver rear tire, but I have been too damn busy to go to the dealership. Thanks for the suggestions

Could be the rim? Is the rim aftermarket or oem?

So I think the geniuses at the dealership finally figured it out. The problem was something in the center cap positioning. They had replaced one of my tires a while back and put it on wrong. They switched the caps around and said that should do the trick. I went to pick it up after the service dept was closed only to have to take it off and replace it myself because I could see they put it back on wrong again and it wasn't flush! Only took 4 trips,
