Heated Windshield Washer Fluid Tanks?

How many gallons do our windshield washer fluid tanks hold? Should I put in more than one gallon at a time? I donít use the fluid any more than in my other cars, but my 7 guzzles it! Wish there was a way to control whether or not itís wasted on the headlamps...

Do our windshield washer fluid tanks heat the fluid, and if not, why?

GM vehicles are advertised as having same!

I agree seems wasteful to do the head lights all the time as far as gm goes they had issues with their heated windshield wiper Fluid because I had and escalade and they sent me a recall so I take it in and their fix was to pull the fuse on it and gave me a hundred dollar check some fix A !!!

There is a way. I do it like this:
- turn off the auto-lights
- spray and wash the windshield
- turn on the auto-lights

Looks a bit funny, and especially at night a bit dangerous. One of the annoyances with the vehicle.
