Swiss Army Watch question...
So I have a Swiss Army chrono that I got at Nordstroms a few years back (brown face/brown strap) and the dial says "Swiss Army". I noticed that the EXACT same watch came out some time later with the "Victorinox Swiss Army" on the dial.
I'm well aware that Victorinox makes Swiss Army brand watches, so no surpise the newer ones say "Victorinox". BUT I was wondering if the older ones with just "Swiss Army" on them are seen as more collectable or valuable? I know these aren't "expensive" watches but I was just curious what you experts thought. |

In a word: no.
They are nice watches, but the only collector-type value they will have is to you if you are of a mind to collect Swiss Army watches. All the best.

Yeah I have a few but the only one that has "value" to me is the one I've had 25 years. They're nice everyday reliable decent quartz watches, pretty much what you see is what you get.

Thanks guys…
I love my Swiss for a nice every day watch. It actually gets more compliments than say my Tag… Then again I like understated watches. |

Victroninox aren't all quartz. My favorite is the hand winde - infantry vintage mechanical with the small second hand dial.
