i was able to decode that hashtag despite not being a baseball fan...5-1 we mauled them, Kempe hat trick. I watched after the Manchester United v. Benefica game i streamed and had to fast forward through some of the kings game so i could get to sleep at a reasonable hour.

it was 1-1 well into the 3rd period, but when the wheels fell off them came off faster than a formula 1 race team can take off wheels.

I always wanted to go to ND, but winter in South Bend??? So I ended up with a Masters from USC, although never actually been on campus.

ManU of those EPL teams I can find on TV, if PSG were shown here more often I would watch, especially since pnchy-Chich is gone.

Niemi in net again. Already 6-0 Tampa. Not even 1/2 way through the game.

Why...why do we contunue to use this guy? His GAA looks like a golfers handicap and his save percentage is on par with the percentage of getting tails in a coin flip. There are fat guys in beer leagues that can stop a puck better than this douche bag. Please get rid of this cream puff.

I'm glad Dallas dropped him. My guys are doing much better after the disaster of the 1st 3 games this year.

And how about Vegas?

Really need to wait 20 games in to see how things are settling in. For hockey the first 10 games are still like a pre-season. Once we get a 1/4 in the regular season we know what each team needs to trade for.

I'm still betting the GN will have went down several positions once things settle in. What is shocking is where the Oilers are. Would have expected a dogfight at the top with them, Ducks, Kings and Sharks....well, it's pre-season

So - he was $700K a year - if you needed a goalie, it would cost you $350K to pull him off waivers. Honestly though - I think he's damaged goods at this point. I'd be shocked if he stays above AHL level at this point. Maybe the KHL will grab him once he clears.

Time table on Fluery was just listed as days - not weeks. So that's good for them. Not sure what they got down deep in the goalie position, but we're about to find out. They may want to grab Niemi for a few games - at half the cost - he may be better than what they have sitting out there.

Sometimes those really good seasons are the fluke - not the other way around. Oilers don't make the playoffs - I think it would be a huge mark on McDavid's legacy.

Needless, it should be a good match up tomorrow between Crosby / McDavid. Pit / Edmonton fans were never really granted many Gretzky / Lemieux matches through their careers. Unfortunately though, I need to travel to Flyer territory tomorrow - so doubtful I'll get the watch the game. Maybe stream it online...

Lets not get carried away with the comparisons. Crosby may get near Lemieux but no one can even approach the GREAT ONE. Needless to say the speed and stars of the Pens should be entertaining as a match for McDavid. Think if the Pens were to get McDavid--they would probably never score less than 3 goals every night.
