I can confirm that there are in fact air vents and a steering wheel in this car.

Those are the comfort seats, just like the ones in the current 7 series, or like the ones I have in my 5 series.

These pics are of the same interior as the pics you posted last week as the next 5 series. Someone is mistaken.

Yes. The 7 series will most likely not have a shifter mounted in the center.

Definitely the 5 series (f10). The exterior shots that accompanied these interior shots definitely showed the next 5 series. These are not 7 series interior shots.

In the third picture, the piece of paper says "F01"

Take a look at the paper in the 3rd photo -- "F01" = the new 7-series

It could say F01 just to fool you, but I can assure you that those are the same interior shots as the F10 (5 series) of last week. The F01 will have the shift on the steering column again. Not in the center. This is the F10. Here is the post with the F10 interior/exterior pics, and you will notice the interior is exactly the same as what this person is claiming to be the F01, and the exterior (notice the exhaust) clearly shows this is the F10.

Well you must have seen articles that I have not. The exec I know at BMW has seen the F01 and said it remains on the steering column. But who really knows. I guess we will see next year.

Guess its all going to be speculation until we see the production 7. There are very slight variations in these photos and the ones of the f10, most noticably are the headlight switches, guages and the buttons on the steering wheel, could be different different preproduction models of the same car though

The buttons on the steering column are different because one has active cruise and the other doesn't. But it's about time that they move cruise to the steering wheel.

Ummm.............No.

If you look at ALL details of the two INTERIOR pics you'll notice these are 2 DIFFERENT cars. Best proof- look at the two different instrument clusters.......the 7's has less demarcations for speed (just like the current 7) while the 5's cluster has more.
More proof- the frickin' door handles are different.

The little piece of paper? It is talking about DSC and if you look it has the logo for the ZF tranny next to the F01 header- no way BMW is going to go to that much trouble to fake that- or screw it up.

And yes- the new 7er will have the shifter moved back to the center console. BMW is doing this as the new 7 aims to be sportier than the current car- more of a return to the E38 style car. Source: CAR and Autocar magazine...

Sorry, but I'll take their insight anyday over some supposed BMW "exec".

Sorry, but I still think those are the same car. And I can also guarantee that the 7 will not have black plastic turn signal knobs and headlight switches. If that is the 7, the quality has gone down from the current. The door handles, from what I can tell, are the same in both.
