Lowered F01 LCI, anyone?

Hey all,

I have been looking at lowering my 2013 750i X Drive and while I do see a H&R lowering spring and links kit for the 750Li, I don't see one for mine. Everything available seems to be for the F02.

So is there anyone with a LCI F01 (rear air suspension) that has successfully and properly lowered their car? If so, what did you go with?

Yeah saw those... but it seems specific to the F02 (Li). Apparently, it does not support F01. Surely there has to be a forum member with a F01 that is lowered...

I would think it'll work on both platforms. Give H&R a call, they are super helpful and you always get a real person. Here's the direct phone number to them...

Not yet. Going to have to put this one on hold.

The wife decided to play tag with a street sign this past week. Luckily it was with the MDX and just cosmetic.

Contemplating trying to DIY a fix before having to resort to taking to a bodyshop. Maybe then I can continue with inquiring H&R.

Wife said, "Let's just leave it like that."

Is there nothing in the coding that will allow the rear air springs to lower the ride height a little? I had a 2008 Audi S8 that you could lower an inch simply by getting into the programming. If I could lower the rear of my Alpina B7 by and inch it would make a huge difference in my opinion.

It's my understanding that the rear ride height is determined by a small armature. The hr kit comes with a threaded armature that you can adjust to change height.
So what I'm saying is there is no programming, it's all mechanical.

The kit comes with adjustable rear links that determine the ride height, and 1 mm makes a huge difference. We determined that 70mm space in the link was the perfect number for the front and rear to have an equal drop. Approximately a 1.5- 2 finger gap front and rear.

I ended up with the same kit. Took a bit to get the rear set up.
