Props for something different. I think there is promise in this area, however, the design may need to be tweaked some.

I'd hate to wash those things. I can imagine your knuckles being scratched up before you're even done cleaning the first wheel!

Would also be curious to see how much they weigh compared to a non 3-d printed titanium wheel. Looks like they're quite heavy, but probably lighter than they look.

Looks too busy / overdone, waiting for a simpler / classy design.

I feel like a more intricate FI-R looking design but showing off what 3D printing can do without over doing it could be a winner

Considering the spokes/hub are Titanium and the barrels are carbon fiber, and also 3D printed yeah I'd say at least 10k a wheel.

I would love to see some stress test data on those wheels. I'd be a little scared to rock anything layer laid like that.

HRE is not responsible for any injuries related to wheel cleaning.

These wheels are in concept phase, so the finish was left in exposed printed Titanium to show off the material.

These wheels are sized 20x9 and 21x12.5, and weigh 16lbs and 19lbs respectively.

Certainly not cheap, for now.

Wild. Very cool stuff. I've been watching metal sintered and the like for a while now hoping more industries start using them to drive price down. I'd love to have one at the house.

Hope to see more of this.

No, we are not. Our partners at GE Additive are the ones completing that part of the process.

Old thread bump but do you have any 812s on 20" at the front and 21" at the rear? Everyone seems to do 21" front and 22" rear.

I'll take a set of HX104s in gloss. Let's see, at ~$6,350 each...
