I am attaching the part of the work order for my car for the seat rails. Seems to be a different recall than the defect code you were given. It is possible there are different codes for 760 and i7 and also possible of course that the notice you got was for something else. I assume you have checked on the NHTSA site; that might tell you what it is.

Thanks, does seem to be a different issue than my code. NHTSA site has nothing for my vin however the BMWtools site is showing the defect code with a “Y” to customer notification which I have yet to receive.

I have a service appointment booked for this Thursday so I guess we’ll find out soon. My service manager was out last week so I haven’t confirmed what it’s for but looking forward to hopefully resolving the multiple and regular iPhone/carplay disconnects I am experiencing at least

Defect Code: 0032470300
That code appears for my vin also as “closed” so it is seatcrails or steering ground or wipers. Not something new. The codes used on the recall site did not match to the ones used by the service department.

That defect code is for the steering wheel ground connection
0061100800 is for the windshield wiper mechanism.

They told me it’s for Front drivers side airbag ground connection.

Yes that is correct. I just got my i7 serviced on Thursday. They completed that recall and flashed me to iDrive 8.5. Unfortunately still have iPhone CarPlay disconnect issues

Yes, it appears that I am. I did receive an e-mail yesterday from BMW offering to install a certificate to my vehicle to enable seamless Electrify America plug and charge, so when I go this week with my iX to address a broken seat belt buckle receiver, I will setup an appointment for the i7 to get its certificate installed, address missing mode (Digital Art) and complain about my random iphone/CarPlay disconnect that continue to persist on the iDrive 8.5 7/2023 version they recently installed

My digital art showed up a day or two after ..I also got that email about plug and charge ..Let me know how that goes because I was told that Bmw prematurely sent that out and when it is able to be activated the app will notify me.i don’t know how true that is
