Fake Badges

My 750Li has the M-Exhaust, “sport” transmission, “M-Package” ..My door sills proudly display the lighted text of “M-Performance” but I feel it’s out of place. I do love the look but,I’m of the belief that only true M-Series vehicles should have M branding anywhere,even if the non-M vehicle contains M branded parts from the factory. There is no M badge on the rear of my vehicle,and there never will be.

I don’t hate on those that choose to put an M on their vehicle,generally you can tell it’s not an M and have myself a little chuckle.

Personally, I like everything debaged including m badges I like it declutter I don’t need to know that my car is an M with an x drive with the engine size just stupid my 2022 vermillion edition x5 with frozen black metallic came from factory debaged when I called and ask them to take all badges off they said you will like this did not come with any I said amazing 🤩

To his credit as well, that looks to be a really well maintained car... no "Camry dents" and on proper winter tires to boot.

Couldn't get the shot but it didn't have BMW wheels so not being a X5 history buff I couldn't tell. If nothing else they suck at up keep.

BMW “M lite”, which means the owner is justified in having the plate frame.

well, my local dealer gives this M plate frame out a gift to everyone who purchases anything M related so M340, M550 to full M5C M8.... so it looks fine, at least to me.

Also, this person's X6 M50i is more expensive than a few actual M series out there.

It is funny though that BMW has adopted the same approach as many of these fake badges.

The fake M badge on an X6 50i from a few years ago are now official when it’s basically the same car.

… and I got a real M and no free plate… what a rip off!
