More photos of 7 series test car
As featured on Bimmerpost Homepage.
More photos of the "M7hybridsport" 7-series which has been speculated by many as an M7, an activehybrid or an m-sport 7-series. |

Whoa!! Nice find! This one looks really mean... Although notice the black tape covering up, from what I can see, chrome strips??... Hmmm... anyways I'm sure this will be the most sought after 7er ever!!! It looks so aggressive IMO. I can't wait!

Adding my 2 cents, I can point that the front bumper does not show fog lights. Tipical indicator of M cars.
The second hint is that under the rectangular pipes, are hidden dual cuad-pipes another signature of M. time will tell |

The front bumper looks nice. It will definitely let more air in then the standard front bumper.
I assume that the taped up areas on the front bumper are covering a different style fog light. Maybe LED type fog lights??? Also, notice that the 750 (actually it doesn't have the 750 badge on the rear but I assume based on the exhaust pipes that it actually is a 750) doesn't have the bump/bulge/cover on the hood as the previous pictures we have seen on this forum! Check out the rims!!!

Actually, the standard 750 has quad pipes behind the dual rectangular tips that are NOT connected to the exhaust system, but rather are attached to the bumper part. Two of the exhaust pipes on the 750 are always open and two have vacuum valves.

The standard 750 has a twin turbo 4.4l V8 so this wouldn't be any different.

My guess is the hybrid. The tape is covering up fog lamps and from the looks of it they've got to be LEDs, signaling that it's some type of premium version of the car.

I think so too. This is definitely an M Sport Body Kit Package.

These pics pretty much rule out an M7. However, this car does not have the hood hump while the other car did. So I think that this is a M-sport bumper on a standard 760i and the other car was an M-Sport bumper on an Active Hybrid car.

The 760 has the same exhaust system setup (four exhaust pipes with two of them always open and two of them controlled via vacuum valves as the 750). The difference is the tile pipe finishers. The 750 has two exhaust tip finishers (item number 6 in the picture below) attached to the bumper (item number 3) and the 760 sports two dual exhaust tip finishers (item number 7) for visual distinction.
I love the looks of the 760's exhaust tip finishers, they look sharp!

definitely an M Sport Package for the 7. Look on the wheels, you can see the little black square where the ///M badge will be on the wheels, like all other M-Sport cars have on their wheels. It has the same exhaust tips and the brakes are the same size, so there is no way it is an M7. Also, those are a new wheel style. No doubt in my mind, it is the M-Sport package for the 7. Le Mans Blue 750i please I really hope those strips of black tape aren't covering up LED strips. Please BMW, don't even go there.

Is BMW trying to throw everyone off the scent here? What happened with the hood?
I think I might be completely wrong about this, but is it possible that BMW is testing an M-Sport package AND an M7 (the one with the camoed hood) using the as yet to be revealed M-Sport package as a cover-up? I have to admit that I actually hope BMW releases an M7, if for nothing else to at least validate their choice of going M with the X5 and X6. Sort of. |

M7
If they'll build an M x5, why wouldn't they build an M7. Especially now that there is a regular auto-transmission(not traditionally very M like) fitted in the x5 m (x6m too) with the twin tubo V8. it makes sense to put the more toned down M set up into a car like an M7. it looks like theres tape on the left side blinker, maybe thats where they're putting the small M badging. And aren't those the same/very similar to the unpolished wheels on the x5 M? Even on the m6 bmw didnt go over the top with hood bumps and flared fenders(as with m3), so a nice wheels/front/rear bumpers are enough for an M7 is you ask me.

Larger cities like Munich usually have single digit letters to indicate what city or region the car is registered in. Smaller cities/regions can have up to 3 digits. That was the general rule of thumb, but over the years this has changed somewhat and has gotten a lot more complicated. Each plate can have a maximum of 8 characters.
