What is this for?

I noticed this camera below the kidney grills of the f01/f02. I thought it was for the night vision system but as far as I know, the night vision system has a camera mounted between the grill slats. What exactly is this?

That's the long range stop&go cruise control radar. The two short range stop&go cruise control radars are behind the bumper.

Neither of the above pictured cars have the night vision camera. The night vision camera would be mounted in the driver side kidney grill towards the headlight. Due to the size of the night vision cameras lens, the kidney grill features 9 slats vs. the 13 slats as pictured above. You can see it here in the 7th picture:

It may even be the up-skirt camera which comes as part of the new Perv Package available only in the Dutch market!
