People now are less capable, dumber and less free than ever before. People should be happy we are strip mining the earth with slave labor to solve a problem that doesn't exist?

Glad we know you aren't really serious about any of this. You're just virtue signaling by buying the newest thing. Facts be damned, right?

Everybody is a globalist when it that means hiding the environmental damage in some far away place with people you don't know and could care less about.

My last five cars had a gas guzzler tax on them. I just take a balanced approach to all of this. You are getting yourself way too worked up. I don't give a fu&& about virtue signaling and can't relate to that.

Biden administration imposes 20-year mining moratorium in watershed of BWCA
“Today is an attack on our way of life,” said Rep. Pete Stauber, R-8th District. “Joe Biden banned mining in 225,000 acres of Minnesota’s Iron Range, and locked up development of taconite, copper, nickel, cobalt, platinum-group elements, and more.” Stauber said the moratorium would only spur unsafe and dirty mining overseas and increased use of child labor in those operations. He also said he would use his new position as a chairman of House Natural Resources subcommittee with jurisdiction over energy and mining to hold hearings into the Biden administration’s actions. “This region sits on top of one of the world’s largest deposits of critical minerals that are vital in meeting our nation’s goals to transition to a clean energy future, to create American jobs, to strengthen our national security and to bolster domestic supply chains,” the mining company said in a statement. https://www.minnpost.com/environment...rshed-of-bwca/ |

If the environment was really a concern, why wouldn't they encourage LESS consumption via updating and repairing old cars and products, instead of encouraging consuming more? You're not saving the world by buying new (disposable at that) junk.

Because the 1% needs the peons below them to keep consuming. There is no money to be earned by actually doing something correctly, the environment won't pay these rich fucks a penny to clean the water or air, and Joe and Jane public is too stupid and powerless to do anything about it.

By moving away from physical energy storage (just like we are moving away from physical data storage) they can basically control your life through the electrical grid and ration off energy usage based "compliance" and keep you locked into a subscription based service. If you think gas is bad - at least your car can sit for a few days or weeks and start with the same amount of range you left it with. Electric cars can't do that, they will lose range over time and actually get worse with age. They also are substantially more costly (though incentives are working it down to parity) harder and more costly to repair and insure as well. They are basically disposable.

You didn't even do the bare minimum in thought. You deferred your whole logic, reasoning and thought process to the news and people "who are experts" and just assumed it was correct. It's lazy, and it's why we are here.

It it were about the climate, they would fly in with the rest of the peons over mass commercial flights to a location that they claim to be impacted by the policies they're lobbying against. Oh I don't know, Antarctica, the Amazon, Congo, India, China....you get the idea. |

They want access to your EV battery pack to help support their failing power grids. If you have solar and home battery storage, they want access to that. Signing an agreement gives them the right to "manage" it all for you. This is how it starts. All I know, the main attraction of going electric(solar/storage/EV's)...is being off grid. They can "manage" deez nuts. |

Can hardly wait till these Green idiots realize that their 20 minute top off became a 2 hour top off because the grid didn't have the power available and all the Web connected chargers throttled down. These are the same idiots that cried like little girls over Net Neutrality because they thought their internet access would be throttle down.
