I'm sure they will be available in the US. And I agree with you on the pin stripes... They look awful and totally out of place on this car. In fact I find it makes the car look cheap! Same goes for the trunk spoiler ... What were they thinking???

Blue Alpina has optional Night Vision which changes the grille to accommodate the camera/sensor between the vertical slats, of which there are fewer. It's a much nicer looking setup IMO. More aggressive. The blue car also has Active Cruise Control. BEAUTIFUL CAR

I think the grill of the blue B7 is the of the 760i (V12). The 760i does not have the same grill as the other 7, 750i, 740i and so. But I don't know how could the 760i V12 grill come on the 750i V8.

The F01/F02 series cars have the 13 slat grills unless you have the optional night vision camera which is located in the driver side grill between the 1st and 2nd slat. Because the night vision camera requires more space than what is available between the slats on the standard 13 slat version, BMW had to modify the grill and space the slats further apart. The modified version has 9 slats as can be seen on the blue Alpina B7 above. The white Alpina B7 in the 1st post does not have the optional night vision camera.
