He said that it was just at idle and he shut it down really quickly. The threaded rod is right through the piston. I was shocked that it didn't bust the valves or damage the surfaces of the head. He took the engine out of the car and tore the down to check that nothing go into the pan. Crank and bearings were all good. Lucky I guess, although he isn't very happy with himself.

I was invited to support the Collector Car Council of Colorado at a local cars & coffee this past weekend. I thought it was pretty cool that they parked my replica Cobra next to a replica Grand Sport Corvette!

I dropped a car off at the detailer today to get a paint correction and ceramic coating.
After I Iooked in the back parking lot I'm not sure I'm at the right place

"The brain trust over on the P car forum thinks that this is the Bob Holbert and Roger Penske RSK's arriving at Riverside in 1960. If that is the case one of those 2 cars could be the RSK that ended up in the Jerry Seinfield P car collection (and was later sold when he thinned out his collection)."
