Ok, once again here is how it's going down: I have devised a triple layer defense system. Stapled chicken wire to the shed at bottom and it goes down into trench. Then I put another layer of wire loose in trench going up and covered with dirt.

Then I lined the shed with bricks and wood--I noticed last night when I put bricks and pots in front of holes he did not move them and decided to go the easy route and dig a new hole. I left his first main hole open and tonight I will be watching for him and when I see him I have a can of foam spray and will hit that hole.

As far as baby's, I did think of that and don't want to trap anyone. I've been monitoring the situation a bit and don't believe there are because have not heard any sounds and only see one skunk....but that is far from conclusive. If after sealing I hear noises or have any indication there is anything under I will have to open a small area of chicken wire and formulate a new plan.

Were taking a step at a time and hoping for the best.

Thanks man..I did some work...now I'm drinking a Dos Equis (you know why right)....going to barbecue some skewers and then Sharks game which I get to watch....so, that means having some drinks, which means when skunk time comes around I will be raring to go.....It's a full moon too, or at least it was last night. If I'm lucky I will get more footage. He's going to be fucking pisssssed!

Ok...so, first thing went to check skunk land....and I have good results but now a question remains.



On the side, digging has happened as you can see and if you refer to the previous pic from yesterday everything was all filled. You see he went only past the first line of defense (remember it was 3 stage defense system) but the curious thing here is that the dirt is removed on the other side of the wire from the inside. So, I did not inspect this area last night, like I probably should have, and this could have happened before he went out where the newspaper was. He could have just dug from the inside first and then said screw it and pushed the newspaper out and went out the front hole.

And when he returned to find the foam, figured he would dig a new hole on the side like the other night.

Or...something is still inside.
At this point nothing has went in or out through these barriers. So, looking for opinions now.

I was hoping to report 100% success and close the case but now I have to monitor and try to determine if any animals are still under there in which case I will open up some of the chicken wire.

Was also hoping to get some footage last night but due to a blend of Beer, whiskey and Gin didn't stay up past 9:30.

Here is the foam job..figure you guys want to see that.
