What do you all think of this M760?
Can I get your thoughts on this vehicle below? I've been looking for an M760 LCI for so long now... What is it missing? Any issues? I know it has a "minor" event on CarFax, but if the price comes down a bit isn't that reasonable?
More interested in hearing thoughts about the car spec's, etc. Vin: WBA7U6C04LBM62889 Link: https://www.timeauto.com/vehicle-det...or-id-50851394 |

there is no mods or updates for the V12, and no one I know has worked on one themselves, plus its a really tight fit, even the G12 TU3 motor is super tight in the engine bay, its a ton of work just to replace the plugs on the new motors. |

The b7 stock makes as much power as the v12. And with downpipes and a healthy tune 725. It will eat a v12 because bmw didn’t do much with the platform since the old f02 760
Just depends on what you want maintenance wise or who wants to dig into the engine. |

Both have plenty of hp, so in this case, the V12 engine on the M760 has the smoothness and performance that u can never feel in a V8; and that's what I want.... If I don't find the car with the right spec's, I might consider the B7, but if I can find both, I will 100% take the V12 M760. Those engines no longer exist and I'd love to own one before it becomes impossible or too old to find and own.

...the only thing I see missing (for me) is full leather.
Plus one on the wheels, and the lower front and rear bumper splitters (aka spoilers). |

BTW carfax on this one shows minor accident, so am not sure if this is a big deal or not for that asking price. |

The interior must be 100% - it's what "you" see 100% of the time while driving, so the right interior color, and the right cabin options are a must. If this dealer wasn't so far away, I'd be tempted to buy their 911...love that blue exterior color. |

The car is only over priced with the accident history, if it didn’t have the accident history it would be appropriately priced. If I were to go after that one I’d offer 65k due to the Carfax hx of the minor accident. I recently bought the one that was in Chicago the 2020 Carbon Black with the cognac interior that had similar mileage. I personally would not want the rear entertainment package in the car. It’s already been discontinued by BMW and if you want to remove the screens in the future you are stuck with ugly and obvious mounting hardware on the seat. It’s much more practical to just get one with the luxury rear seat package and then use iPads attached to the seats. I am coming from an M8 and really wanted the V12 after driving my friends around.

Am stuck in this same situation for the first time ever…
The top 4 luxury sedan options that I always liked and/or owned all failed to deliver a vehicle that I like enough to buy now… The W223 (new S-class) is good but not enticing enough … I just can’t yet justify it. I hate the new ugly BMW 7-series…. The Lexus LS feels way outdated now…. And the Audi A8/S8 disparately needs an exterior re-design…. I have something to enjoy but am anxious about what’s coming in the next 1-3 years…. Unfortunately the W223 will be around for at least another 4-5 years, the 7-series will be around for another 7 years….Future of Lexus LS is up in the air…. Maybe the next gen A8/S8? I liked the new Lucid Gravity but am good with the two SUVs we have, and my daily-drive has always been a sedan. Am good with what I have today but the near future of luxury sedan isn’t as exciting as it was in the past few years; am disappointed. If it’s not the M760 soon, a Nicely equipped 2024 pre-owned depreciated Porsche Panamera might be the best option for me in 2 years from now once am ready for another toy. |

One of the only colors where the front end looks good. Like the contrast of the lighter interior. My personal take is I would still rather have my B7 vs. a V12. The B7 has about the same power, will get much better fuel economy and not spend half of its life in a gas station. However, if the V12 is what you want, I get it. You are looking for the full leather package. My question would be with such limited number of V12Â’s, what percentage have that option? At some point you may have to pull the trigger with what is available or take the chance of never buying the model. (I am in real estate and see that happen a lot.) As far as the rear entertainment, I figured I would never be in the back seat of my car so it was a non-issue. Now if I had a driver, it would be very important. I would inquire what the damage was. If it was the bottom of the front splitter had been dinged on a curb, thatÂ’s one thing. If the front end was hit by a deer, that is a whole new ballgame. If it was hit hard, pass on the car. If it was minor, you may be able to use this to negotiate a better deal.

You guys are starting to convince me about the B7.... I thought the gas mileage difference isn't huge though?
The V12 is such a reliable engine though... Regardless, does anyone know the exhaust sound difference between the B7 vs M760? Which one of them is more aggressive? |

Now this one checks a lot of the boxes: 1. Low mileage Engine N74L (V12) 2. Full Leather with awesome contrast stitching 3. Black exterior trim (including grill) 4. Individual weave leather stitching 5. S7GZ Executive Lounge 6. S4HC Heat Comfort Package 7. S6F1 Bowers & Wilkins High End Sound System 8. S6FR Fond Entertainment Experience 9. S5AU Driving Assistant Professional 10. S5DV Remote-Controlled Parking 11. S2VS Executive Drive Pro Priced right! (and might even be able to get lower...it's dropped $8K since posted 71 days ago..... VIN: WBA7U6C05MCE80297 (VIN Decode Attached) Merriam, Kansas is bit too far for me to go pick this up myself......or I would. |
