Very cool, I'm only up the road in Woodford so will try and swing by see it in the flesh - from the photos it looks like a matt version of (my colour) Singapore Grey

Nobody was buying the short wheel base in the US market. I wouldn't have either.

The long wheelbase is what actually drew me to the 7, as I was tired of cramped rear seats for my passengers. I have heard they are bringing a short wheelbase 7 to the states, to avoid the 5 series cannibalizing sales from potential 7 owners that don't want a long wheelbase. I think those are two different markets, but curious to see how it plays out.

Where did you hear the G11 short wheelbase was coming to the US? All indications are they are not. However, I believe they are sold in Canada.

Local dealer, as I was discussing the new 5 series they had in the showroom. I will believe it when I see it, as the dealer doesn't always have the correct info.
