Thumbs down Rear View Camera - Can't see in the night

Hi Guys

Another HUGE problem I'm facing is that my car has 360 camera built in.
But when I go to reverse in the night time when there are no lights in the background the quality is really bad and I can't see anything.

Is it something everyone is facing ? or just my car ?

I have the G30 (530e WITHOUT 360 camera) and thats absolutely incredible I can see it like im seeing it from my own eyes.
Does anyone you know the issue ?

Try adjusting the rear camera brightness via I-drive.

Hi Roho3323

Thats all I have done. But still sometimes because the brightness is too much I can't see anything in the back.

Is it a factory fault ?

I struggled with the same...I found a decent sweet spot on the adjustments...75% bright to max...but in general the backup camera at night is tough to see if there isn't any exterior lighting around.

My F10 was was much better than my 18 750.

You want bad though, go try an 18 Escalade, beyond disappointing.

I'd say the whole car is beyond disappointing. think of the escalade as gold-plated diarrhea.

The truck does have its share of problems, which Ive come to accept, because it is the nicest SUV of that class and size. Closest thing is the Navigator, but it just came out, and Ford still cant dial in a nice design for the rear for the Navigator.

But the reverse camera on it is horrible. Same garbage hat was on my 2015 GMC DENALI, and I thought they would improve, seeing that a small camera costs nothing, especially in bulk, and when you are getting a 100k+ rig, you would think they would improve on such a small but important feature.

Oh well!

Exterior looks nice, interior is was surprisingly nice except for the cluster-fuck of different materials everywhere which I think is stupid, but if I'm going for a big SUV I would get the Infiniti QX80 and pimp it out.
