I am thinking about putting 20s/21s on my 2020 740i, I was told there is a possibility that putting on those size aftermarket wheels could interfere with the alignment to the point I would have to take it to the dealership to have them align wheels and sensors. Does anyone know if this is true? Or is it safe enough to put aftermarket rims from a rim shop on my 2020 740xi…..thanks for any and all help!

I dont see why it would cause any problems. If you stick with manufacturer specified total rolling circumference, then everything should be plug and play. Going with smaller or larger circumference will cause issues with speed readout and xDrive control.

EDIT: Don't forget to add RDCi valves if your car comes with the option.
