Of course, if you are poor, have no assets or sink all your money into an M3 and don't own a house or anything then minimum liability limits are fine.
Yea, I'm looking into an Umbrella Policy. Back home standard auto insurance was $1M liability and you didn't have to worry about half the stuff they have in the US.

I've had a wonderful experience with Allstate.
In 09, I had a horrible motorcycle crash, contacted my rep and they paid for the bike plus all the safety gear that got damaged during the crash.

Couple of years ago, my wife got in a COUPLE of fender benders and they paid quickly with no issues and no rate increases.

However, I had a GTR last year and their rates were obscene. I went with Geico just for the rate, but went back to Allstate when I picked up my M3.

Been with them for 15 or more years. Can't remember exactly.

My dad is retired Navy. He served in the 1950's. Would I be eligible?

Yep, as long as he wasn't dishonorably discharged.

My bottom biatch Warren Buffet's Geico is what I roll with. ~1400/year (really like 1000/year because the 135i gets stored during the winter) for a my 09' 135i and my 06' Mazdaspeed6. Full coverage and $250 deductibles.

USAA rate was far more expensive for me than other insurances. I love my USAA account, but their insurance hasn't been kind to me for whatever reason.

I have Safeco and I have amazing coverage with them.
