Questions regarding VLD and Bluetooth coding
So I am going to start coding the car soon but I'm trying to understand something first.
After using the BMW VIN decoder, I see that the car has option code: S8S4A (Decoding variable light distribution), however I don't see high beam assistant. From what I got from coding my F30, high beam assistant (anti-dazzle) was required along with VLD coding for it to be fully active. Would I be able to get by with just coding VLD? Second question. Which options do I need to activate Bluetooth via coding? The car has nav professional. |

Something makes me think the US does not get the full anti-dazzle. The cars that do have it actually have it on the build sheet to "decode antidazzle." The build sheet of my 2015 7 only mentions VLD.

On my F30, it has 5AP: decoding for no dazzle high beam assistant as well as the decoding for VLD
But the 7 series is like yours and only has decoding for VLD. You'd think they'd have a nice option like that available for the 7 : |
