Stop spoiling my thoughts.

Damn, three horses? That is quite the money pit between feeding and boarding them, unless maybe you are making some cash by breeding them?

Wow, I am envious of that garage. Have you ever visited the garagejournal(dot)com forums? That would be a great place to document the build of such an awesome garage.

How did you decide which horse goes where (#2, 3 and 4) on the money-pit pecking order :P

My money pit is leather-goods. Wallets, briefcases, boots and shoes.

Actually, the attic has been inclosed and air conditioned because it is the train room. Though the train room belongs solely to my father who's 73.

The slot car track, we built together and i think i have about 30 cars. Here is a 120fps video of one of the turns.

I was joking about the train room reference, but now that you mention it, do you have videos/pics of that as well??? No matter how old, I get, I always love those kinds of things.

That green maw is for my youngest son. . . We haven't pulled the engine yet, but plan on swapping drum for disc and including the 2.5" drop at the same time. I have about $2500 on my wishlist on a site, and haven't gotten to the interior yet. Engine and tranny will have to be rebuilt since it's a 1977 and I still have to pass smog in Cali. Otherwise there are some nice 1776 crates I would have loved to drop in the back.

No, i don't get up there too often. He's won some awards for the layout and scenery though.

The slot car thing came about 4 years ago when he surprised me with a larger scale plastic slot track that he built for Christmas. When i was a kid, he used to get me a small scale track each year.

So after toying with the plastic track for a year or two we decided to make a permeant custom routed 4 lane track. Which you see pictured. He had to sell his 53 GMC 5 window to make room in the garage. We blocked off the 5th garage bay and routed some ac ducts and supplement them with a window ac in the summer.

It's a lot more fun than most people think it's going to be. Most everyone who's come over for track time has since bought their own cars and make regular visits. It's a driver's track. Just like IRL, you have to brake before the turn, feed power when at the apex and hammer it in the straights. Your tires go away in the middle of races, you can tune the cars with lube, tire grip, magnets, etc... (we used magnetic primer in all the corners)

Jacqueline is still green, meaning she is still in works with a trainer ( which costs $$$ per session she works with her) . Blackie is my retired show mare, during our show seasons we spent quite a bit of $$$, and Frankie is just a mustang that is now a trail horse.

As a horse owner, there were soooo many things wrong with that movie. Never go see a horse movie with your entire riding team. We spotted 26 errors in all. SMH.

I use excel to keep track of my current stock, here is a screen shot of the summary page. I've been tempted to sell some of my 22lr. Bought it all when it was $.04/round. Doubt i'll sell any of it though.

Nice pile!
I usually sell 50%+ of piles for premium during and right after elections, and restock it 5mo after at lower cost bases. lol

I remember I sold 20 boxes of those Walmart 100rnd Walmart AE 223/556 for $75/box around early 2013.
