ISTA Lowering - engine on?

Like the title says.

I have ISTA and the guide for lowering but is it required to have a charger/ power supply?

Is it possible to keep the car on while doing lowering?

You dont need a power supply for this procedure. Even engine doesnt need to be running as it's not a procedure that is power sensitive. It might not even be a good idea to have engine running as it might affect measuring and calibration.

7fitty , this procedure can mess up your vehicle if you do not keep track of your math and/or measure real height correctly.

First, there is a limit of height values that you can enter into ISTA. Do not be alarmed. Just use a smaller number to drop your height.

Second, do not try and slam the vehicle the first time around. I suggest do 10mm or even 5mm all the way around. Once you get used to the procedure, you can be more aggressive with the height of you want.

Once you complete a lowering sequence, be sure to use your height button on your center console....and it would not hurt to drive a mile or two at the new height before you try and lower the vehicle more.

After this procedure, if you happen to come out and your car is higher on one side, do not be alarmed. Jump in the car and cycle your height using the center console height adjustment button. If this does not correct the height, then find level ground and cycle your height button. If it remains lopsided, you might have done the math wrong. Lopsided can occur side-to-side and front-to-rear.

Math: Measured height + drop value should be entered into ISTA, which should trick the car into holding the new height to the initial height minus the drop value..

Example: measured height = 100mm. You want to drop the car by 10mm. Enter 110mm into measured height, and car should really sit at 90mm.

Another issue that will dork this up, is not following the procedure on how to measure actual height. Do not round up or round down.
