2011 N55 335i Outside Key Hole?

I have a dead key fob for my 2011 335i, replaced the battery and still won’t unlock the car. The key fob also comes with the manual keyblade but I can’t find where to insert it to manually open the car. Can’t find anywhere online that shows where on the exterior of the car the keyblade would even be used for.

you need to remove the cap on the driver's side door handle.

there is a video on youtube, try "location of keyhole 2011 BMW"

I cannot download the link or I would have posted the video.

There was a cap?

Seems like a cap wouldn't fit flush over mine. 2011 335i e92

How can there be a cap, on my e93 lci, which even has comfort access, there's a big clearly visible metal circle in the driver handle. Wish it had a cap but I'm pretty sure you can't put anything over it.

SpeedBuggy you probably mean this:

Isn't that F series and newer? All e9x have normal keyholes right?

This is what it should look like as far as I know, on e9x:

(Ugly example but all I could find).

If there's other options I would love to know.

Well, I'm a bit embarrassed. I was on a couple of forums last night and thought I was still on F48 forums. Never sunk in to the fact that the question was about an e92. Happens at my age.

My 2018 F48 X1 has the cover like the posted video, guess that's were my mind was at.

Went out and looked at my e90 and our X3 and both have the keyhole.

Maybe some kind of after market cover??
