21-inch Star spoke 311 cast wheels on the ground

This was a "no nonscence Alpine White fleet car" 750i with $6595. worth of wheels and tires. They do look GOOD!!! I don't know how they'd do in the everyday world. I'm just dreaming anyway, so why not.

They look great but I'd worry about the harshnes of the ride with so little sidewall. It can be rough as it is with the 19s.

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw how little rubber there is between the pavement and the 21" rims!

Personally I think that 21" is already too big (or I should say there isn't enough rubber left) and I would worry about ruining the rims if you hit a pothole or curb at just the wrong angle! I think 20" is a perfect fit for this car...

They do look good though

I thank they look great and I am quite sure the car will absorb the ride. 21s are nothing compared to cars today and I am sure the car was designed with this in mind.

I have the former body style with 22s and while our roads in So Cal are pretty good, even when I go up to LA where roads are worse, the car handles it quite well. I had 19s and put on 22s and the ride didnt change much at all, seriously. Granted I picked a wheel that was very light weight but the factory 21s will be the same.

Sister-in-law has an '06 750Li with 21" wheels. Hit a small pothole on a freeway. Destroyed the tire and cracked the rim. $2,000. She's done. Not enough rubber and too much metal.
