Now I can call it a BMW 7 Series ( ANGEL EYES)

I just want to let everybody know that if you own an F01 and can't stand the Piss yellow angel eyes/ halos on the car, you MUST get a pair of Alex's HID kits for your 7 series at Alpine MSS.

No, I did not get a discount on the kit for this write up, I just want to share the joy and the news that I no longer have nasty yellow angel eyes and you don't have to either.

My 750i looks like it has the new LED angel eyes like the new F10 5 series and 2013 F01 LCI DRL Coronas in the new headlights.

If you think the pictures are cool, honestly, these pics don't do it justice as how it looks in person.

I was wanting to swap for the LCI headlights to get the new look but I am over it after installing these today, it totally changes the look of the car. Here are a couple of iphone pics I took as I was installing the kit.

Hope this helps.

OEM light swap would have cost you $2000, this cost what, $200 and a normal person wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The lights transform the front, looks amazing!

Btw, what color did you get? 6000k?

Absolutely!!! I am so glad I went with this HID upgrade. I had DRL turned off in settings because I couldn't stand the halogen yellow AE's. Totally transforms the front end.

Went with 8000k color temp.

Install was extremely easy. Took me about an hour with no mechanical knowledge.

Just follow this install DIY video step by step and you'll end up with a successful install and bright white Angel Eyes

I've only been running the HID kit for a day so it's a little early to see if these issues will pop up later on. All looks great at this point, I guess time will tell if those issues have been resolved.

I do notice that on the picture with the burnt wire, the color of the wire harness is black and my kit came with a red cable instead. I don't know if the manufactures have switched something out after hearing about these excessive heat issues.

Personally, I don't think I worry what colour my rings look like. Not sure why some people seem to take it seriously. I sure care how useful my low/high beams are. I would not spend a cent making the angle eye ring to be of a different colour.
