Picked up a B9 S4 for wife - nice job Audi!

My wife is an Audi fan (she hates "heavy" BMW steering ) and her dream car was an S4. I surprised her on her 30th birthday and made her dream come true. Picked up a 2018 S4 Prestige and I have to say, well done Audi! The interior design is gorgeous and the virtual cockpit Handles well too- Audi's are known for understeer, but they've worked wonders with that active differential.

What a cute car! Reminds me of the bite size version of the Kia Stinger, especially the t-handle.

Nice car. Does giving a car have the same benefit as giving jewellery?`

Nice, thanks for sharing. I have to admit... I have always been a fan of Audi interiors. I used to drive an Audi TT

lol...well, I can milk this gift for a little bit longer.

I did go to Tiffany's to look at diamond earrings before buying this car....and suffice to say she's not going to get much Tiffany's anything. lol

Agreed- BMW can't match the elegance and just the overall design of Audi interiors. Makes my incoming F80 feel particularly cheap.

How's the steering? Is it Pole Position light enough for her?

lol. Yes definitely. She HATES driving my E90 328i M Sport.

That being said, they've done a good job- the steering may not have a lot of feel, but it has useable heft in sport mode (unlike the stupidly heavy sport plus mode in F8X) and is VERY direct. Between the responsive steering and super reactive diff, the car just sticks and goes. I've tried to be stupid with it and haven't fazed it yet. No understeer, no oversteer. Just grip forever.

That's a good looking car, I wanted one of these last year but the stock performance is a bit limp. Interested to see what it can do tuned.

Nice car. I had a 2013 Audi S4 with the the sport differential and it was phenomenal in the bends. Overall I wasn't a fan of the car to do a full build on it and ended up selling it but I did prefer the S4 interior to the BMWs. Back in another 335 now.

Your B8.5 was gorgeous! However, if you haven't driven a B9 yet, I'd highly recommend it just for fun- it's very different than the B8 generation (especially one with dynamic suspension, active diff, and the dynamic steering). Would love to hear your feedback as well.

I love the attention to detail...aluminum pedals, contrasting stitching, and the red quilted leather sets it off.

Gorgeous car. What a good husband you are, your wife should realize how fortunate she is.

There is a lot of hidden hating going on with inuendos. Who gives a shit about understeer and numb steering. Not every car is for the track or to go racing, sometimes it's just a car to enjoy while you go about your daily life and Audi does a great job of this as you can see, makes my 16 M3 look dated. But in my case I prefer the analog personality of my M3, my wife would love this car though.

Nice! I want to update my S4 to a newer one for a daily. The wife will be getting a Q5 in the near future.
