OT- Ordered Tesla MS 70D- replacing my 330dxd

after Many yrs of BMW ownership of different cars- having decided to go EV way. Have ordered Tesla MS70D range of 200miles(usable), has a good charging network etc.
The test drive was amazing, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Will be sad to see my beemer go. will cont to have our X5 as our family car.
I've enjoyed my time on the forum- getting great snippets/helpful advice.
Thank you guys, no doubt will be visiting the forum frequently.

Wondering if anyone has done the same.

yes i've specced the autopilot. looking forward to it. hopefully with all the super chargers around the country and continent it would very much be free motoring apart from my commute which isn't bad.

Congrats on the car...a buddy of mine has one just like yours and I was blown away with the test drive. Really hard to get my head wrapped around that instant on torque, it was such a trip!!

thats what got me. i must say i downgraded from z4m and m3 previous to that to a 330xd due to family etc but 70d gives me that instant torque and power to me instantly. I agree its not as fast as the new m3 but for a 2 tonne awd car 0-60 in 5.2s and all of it with awesome mpg(there is none). just done maths- it cost me 10er for 200miles. So i really can't be complaining with 0 road tax and insurance is no more than my current car. it appears to be the future. I can't wait for germans to get into it particularly rumours around i5. i would in the queue as soon as its announced.
