I also can't find anything either. Really disappointing after nearly a year there seems to be no interest to lower this car and that completely sways many peoples purchase decisions.

Found these guys on instagram since they are claiming they lowered the new 7, I reached out and never received a response so it leads me to believe they didn't actually lower it.

The TAC (Terminal Alive Control) for the electrics is an issue that hasn't been resolved to release the lowering modules (and they'll be priced at $1700-$2400 once a solution is implemented). Until then, a small diagnostic ride height adjustment is the only appropriate option. Links are a very bad idea with this car.

If you have one (or a client car), can discuss something.

Hi everyone..I can't go into great detail but through some friends/contacts at BMW we had a frank discussion on some items including the new 7 and they really appreciated the feedback. To the point of picking up the phone in front of me sending the feedback right away and having a meeting the next morning.

I explained to them how the lowering issue is deterring people like myself and other enthusiasts who want to modify and lower the car. As of now there is nothing to override the factory air. Germany is now aware of the feedback as well but its basically in their court to offer an override. (I even referenced this thread)

Hopefully they come through!!

I wouldn't say Monster Truck.

ANY 7 looks BETTER with 22's... Period! Lowering simply makes it look EVEN better!

I see that i8 over there sitting correct!

Which shoes on both rides?

I still can't believe there is no options to lower this yet. It makes me want to get rid of it and go to something else.

There has been a way for a while. No one else on here has posted they've done it on their own car. It's the same method I cracked over a decade ago when two axle air systems became common. ISTA/D, calibrate ride height procedure, and just fudge the numbers +15mm from normal. Closes the gap enough for most and keeps it out of the -40mm total emergency run height.

Yup...I mentioned it in the second reply.

It can be a little stubborn so someone who knows what they're doing should perform it. The system won't accept anything under 5mm change, but occasionally it will reject 10mm as that's the allowable tolerance. -20mm is too much, so I go with -15mm unless it's actually sitting too high, or raise the car first, then calibrate it down if there isn't enough to start with. It can take a couple of sessions to get it just right and the car needs to be moved at least 15'-20' back and forth between attempts followed by a rest period.

It appears from this thread that the 7 can be lowered but no one appears to have done it. Does anyone know if this can in fact be done yet and where it can be done? I just picked my 7 up a week ago and it desperately needs lowered. Thanks for any help.
