Nice feature of the 7, Auto Seat Belt Pretension System

Not sure if the 7 series is the only BMW with this feature or not but it's really kind of one of those nice added touches....When you start to drive, the seat belt has a motorized "tensioner" that relieves any slack in the belt, kind of a, "well here we go," feeling

I am really enjoying the new 7!

It actually does it when you click the belt in even if just sitting still as long as powered on.

What I REALLY like is that after it adjusts, it feels comfy and NOT suffocating like 90% of ALL cars seatbelts!

My 2011 had this feature. Also, this feature kicks in, rather aggressively, when the collision detection system kicks in.
