I read somewhere the weight savings will only be bout 100kg. If true AND its because they fitted 4cyl eng then again this can turn out to be one of the worst intro for a bmw car. The new q7 managed to shave +300kg with no carbon fibre. Bmw better put out some proper pics and specs to put out this fire

Agreed, I don't like it. It's something I would expect for a Toyota Avalon

It's just ugly. The back looks just like a Hyundai. I thought about changing my F10 to the new 7, but no more. Don't think the mpack will make it any better.

Wheel gap is purely for spacers put in to aid in transport.

This is such a let down, I can't even right now. I expect this from Acura, not BMW. I'm a huge BMW fanatic, and I'm really worried about their design direction. This just ruined my NYE!

Sure what we're seeing is not going to excite buyers seeking sport luxury style. Perhaps BMW has found another niche market, understated.

I love it, it looks much more sporty/dynamic than the S class and A8. The interior materials look top notch as well. I can't wait to see the tech specs as I'm sure it will not disappoint.

Guys I lowered it a little.

I think the proportions are right (as always), but they could have done better with surface treatment

extremely disappointing, I don't even think its plausible to say wait until you see it in person. It's just evident in these pictures unfortunately.

It's a 7er, who cares? Pointless car for BMW as no one has ever really bought the 7er since just about any option has been historically better. Stick to 3's and 5's.

From an aesthetics standpoint, the interior is a bit garish if i'm honest. Too much chrome, too many "shiny objects" so to speak. It's a six-figure car, there's no need to add chrome for the sake of chrome. The quality should be self-evident rather than showy.

Exterior follows the GT-esque lines, which are not at all appealing to my eyes.

Not BM's finest work but let's see M-Sport first.
