Help Smart key fob issues

Alright so my 'smart key fob' does some weird things, it died and I tried to charge it and all it does is show the bmw logo charges for 2 seconds and dies again.

I uploaded a gif. Anyone experience this?

Mine turns the display off when it is charging. Have you left it plugged in for a few hours?
