New Rattle from Driver’s Side B-Pillar Area

New, intermittent rattle for the past month coming from somewhere to the left of the driver's seat; not sure if it's the driver's door, driver's side b-pillar (upper or lower portion), driver's side rear door or the driver's seat. Tried holding several panels while driving, but the noise doesn't go away when occurring. Unfortunately, gotten to the point of being a nuisance. Any ideas? And, no, it's not the seat belt or anything stored in the car...

ARGH; WHY DO OUR CARS HAVE SO MANY RATTLES!? How long have you had the noise? What have you done to try to isolate it? It’s intermittent, right?

Thank goodness I am not alone with this issue lol

Happened at 1500 miles, replaced the seat belt and the column

3000 - noise comes back, replaced the interior column trim b pillar

7xxx - noise is back with a vengeance, now in the right rear c pillar; replaced right rear seat belt trim and rear parcel shelf.

15000 - now the sunroof area is noisy(particularly around the passenger visor area), replaced entire headliner

all is well till 39,xxx - the right sides of the b & c pillars rattle so much that enough is enough, dealer buys car back and I jumped into a '13 F02

this was on a '12 760Li btw

When you say they rattle so much, do they do so intermittently, all the time or are you easily able to reproduce the noise for the dealer?

Otherwise, was it the dealer or corporate who bought back the car? Only for the rattles or for other problems as well?

It wasnt constant but every so often and I had the SA and tech in the car for a ride and was able to reproduce the noise.

Dealer was the one who bought back the car and it was also for multiple issues as well.
