Thoughts on this lease deal?

2015 750LI, $96k MSRP (m sport edition, so it has executive, m sport, lighting, driver assistant packages)

$1631 drive off
7MSD
$850/month (9% tax inc)
39 months

OR:
2014 750Li ($106k msrp, same options as above except it has the Active front seats)
$2371 drive off
7MSD
$800/month.

I wanted the 2015 to be $800/month or the 2014 to be $750/month but they said for me to come back at the end of the year and they may do it

opinions are greatly appreciated

Where are you located?

I work for BMW and both of those sound like fantastic deals.

I wish I could get another 7 that cheap. My 335 GT is costing me over $700 a month. No multiple MSD in NY.

MSD are great.

If it matters or not, I go straight to the GM or Sales Manager (if GM is busy).

I ended up staying with Mercedes. They offered me a deal I couldn't refuse.

I wanted to go back to BMW. Guess I'll have to see what happens next year. When the SL550 is done, maybe I'll get an i8 if I can find one...but probably just get another SL..

Do you mind sharing your deal on your new MB? Always great to have an idea on the MB pricing. Thank you.

2 E350, $63k MSRP (massaging chairs, xenon, p1, illuminated star, lane tracking, blind spot, metallic paint etc) for one pay lease $25k. 24 months, 10k miles, Tier 1 credit.

I had 2 E350s as well that i did a lease turn in. Saved me $1200 in disposition fees, $1k in damages on the cars, and forgiveness on some of the over mileage.

Overall about $3k in savings just from that. Hence why it made more financial sense for me to stay with Mercedes.

I could've gotten the S550 for $30k for 2 years, but I decided to be a bit more financially restrictive. 2 E350s for less than the price of 1 S550 (I needed two cars, so it would've been ~$40-42k if I got the E+S).

BMW also doesn't really do one-pay leases, so it was another reason why I stayed with Mercedes (I don't like having payments). Along with 24 months vs 36/39 months (longest I've ever had a car is 24 months...I can't imagine more than that).

I wanted to go back to BMW but it didn't make financial sense when all the numbers were considered.

Tax benefits (for my line of work, consult your tax specialist for more info).

Money factor is reduced so overall you pay less.

Don't need to worry about payments and just drive the car (I don't like payments on anything in general, this is more personal preference).

There are cons as well. the biggest one being that your money is tied up and can't be used for other investments. But it's only 25k, so only you can determine if this money being given to Mercedes is worth it for you. The overall savings, peace of mind, and tax benefits outweigh all else. This is the 5th time I've done one pay leases in 3 years and I will most likely continue doing them.

We get screwed in New York. We can only do one low Security deposit, so our payments are high. With MSD (Multiple Security Deposits), the money factor of the lease is much lower, so the payments are much lower too

No these were right, but it was too high for me as I don't really like the 7 series enough.
So I decided to stay with mercedes.

I feel you on the 2 year mark. Seems like after 24 months you really start to get that appetite for something new. 1250/mo on a 24/mo S550 seems like a solid price. Haven't really looked into a Mercedes in a while so I was wondering what kind of deals they were making. Is that a reasonably well equipped S class at that price? Those suckers really get up there in price once you start throwing packages and options in the mix.

MSRP was 106k IIRC or 104k.

It had what i needed and cared for so it fit my needs had I decided to get it.

but it was far from fully loaded.

Any dealer you recommend out in LA? Maybe I'll give them a holler when my lease is up to see what they've got.
