BMW should just stick with the current 7.

I think the new 7 will look more like this. I would wager a bet that the front of the 7 has more drama and sets itself apart from the other models.

BMW has some time to create something magnificent that will truly compete with and surpass the luxuries and design of the Mercedes S-Class.

The current 7 is really good, in my opinion, so great that I bought three of them because it was my favorite BMW to date.

I really think they will reinvent the next 7 and we will all love it!

It will be great

I like it very much! Nevertheless I'm always more intrested in what's under the skin, I mean in general, than the plain exterior look. Content over form, forever!

Thank Goodness this is only speculative cuz it sucks! Both front and rear profiles suck. The side profile also sucks. No way this could take on the S.

The rear looks alfa romeo style,

Front looks like the new E class Benz lights, just cut to fit the 7 series....

One picture has regular mirrors, the other picture has M5 mirrors

All in all a render

The new S class KILLS this 7 series!

Guess what, E46 looks better... go back to that drawing board and start from there, and don't mess it up.

Not a huge fan of the exterior on the new S Class, but I feel the new 7 series will be a good looking car.

I actually think this new design could have a lot of potential. I hope the finished product looks something more like the below render (although headlight integration looks terrible).

I really like the current 7 but only because it has maintained good proportions, short overhang and typical BMW design cues. The front end lets it down slightly. The problem I have is that the grilles are not only big but they are tall. I wish they were wider like the old E38. That was a great design.

Just a bad photoshop of the current model to sell papers.

The side profile is the F01 with a photoshop rear and front. I can do that too and call it a render.

Edited the render. I think the headlights should flow into the grilles but not connect (like 3er and 4er). Grilles should also be slightly more rectangular instead of rounded. You get the idea though.

who did this rendering? its god awful. If you want tail lights like that, do yourself a favor and get the Lexus GS Fsport. that car looks awesome. performance wise, i dont know though lol.

it is a render...but be prepared for the headlight/ grill integration as this is with all new GEN BMW's.
But I think they will pull it off much better than this render...
I wasn't initially sure about the 3 series new design at first but it grew on me and now I see, it is a much better looking car than its previous GEN, IMO.
