544hp for a twin turbo v12 seems way underpowered, especially for a car that heavy. I guess that can be fixed though with an aftermarket ecu remap.

Well the V8TT gets 400hp, so another 150 for four more cylinders isn't "way underpowered" in my opinion. Another point is that the engine, IIRC isn't V12 TT, its a TwinPower turbo V12 (not twinturbo V12). I don't know what the difference is, but it's not the same as twin turbo; it's a single turbo.

Edit: Nevermind, as Quick1 TO BE explains below, what I wrote above is impossible.

its imposible to run a V motor with a single turbo.. it is a twin turbo..

EDIT:
The two exhaust gas turbochargers specially developed for the new V12, thanks
to the small cylinder angle of 60o, fit perfectly and in compact arrangement on
the outside of the two rows of cylinders, each supplying six cylinders with
compressed air. Through their position they provide the ideal configuration for
short, straight and therefore aerodynamically efficient pipe connections
between the exhaust manifold and the turbochargers. In combination with the
catalytic converters optimised for minimum counter‐pressure, the design and
configuration of the exhaust gas manifolds sets the basis for the outstandingly
spontaneous and direct response of the twelve‐cylinder as well as its supreme
power and torque.

Oh, didn't know that! Sorry for the misinformation. I looked back at some stuff, seems like I mixed it up with the one in the 5GT, I think. Thanks for the correction.

Alpina will soon, well I hope so, bring out the Alpina B7 S that is based on the 760i/Li, and it will by all means get at least 100 hp more. After that it will be possible to upgrade the 760i/Li by Noelle Motors. It is not underpowered. What is really problematic is that is heavier than the previous one, and than the S, and the next A8 will get even lighter. In the same time I know that a heavier the car is more comfortable and sure it is in case of collision.

Thats just crazy. I can't open a pdf on computer that I am currently on. Does it mention how much torque it makes?

It is not impossible to run a single turbo on a V engine. I have seen several single turbo V6's and V8's.

No xDrive on the beast? How are we supposed to put the monumental horsepower and torque to work in the winter?

Best regards.

v6 surpa's? I thought they were all straight 6's. That's what I loved having in common with them when I had my turbo IS300

Supras are inline 6's. But there are some single turbo 350z's out there. They just have awesome crazy looking manifolds.

553 lb-ft wow. thats a lot of torque for a lot of car
