Review of LED angel eye replacement bulbs from EBAY

I purchased this kit on ebay based on his high amount of positive feedback.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-LED-ANGE...7ee30b&vxp=mtr

Overall the kit is great. I know the new 7 series will have the LCI led lights that will be much brighter. I was just tired of the yellow color. So far so good. No error codes and I like the color. If you want a brighter output then stock I would probably recommend the HID version upgrade.

For me I really was not too concerned with the brightness output. I wanted something like stock brightness but more blue or white in color. The led upgrade gives the angel eyes a purplish blue hue which i like.

Here are some reference pictures.

Stock VS. LED

You can see how the stock bulbs are more of a yellowish tint, while the leds are more white

Here is an angle shot of the stock yellow bulbs

I hope that gives you guys a better idea of what to expect with the direct led replacements.

Yes it all the same. As long as it is H8 it will work with 7 series. I bought that exact kit on ebay.

I'm not convinced they are all the same even if they are stamped H8. I think there must be different resistors for the CANBUS systems

Kind of off topic but I love that black grille. Is the B7 Alpine white? I have an 09 750i in Alpine white and I like the blacked out grille, where is that from?

I had the body ship strip the chrome, sand it down and paint it.

very easy to install. Take 1 minute. Pop the hood, open the flap the covers the headlight. Screw off the cap, pull the bulb out and replace the new one.

Really easy. Instructions to replace bulbs also located in your owners manual
