Integral Active Steering and X Drive
Sales guy had to ask around, turns out they said that IAS and X Drive can't be on the same car? I have M Sport package.
Really? I was thinking that maybe there's something about the system that is dangerous in slippery situations, but then I remember my father's 2004 GMC Sierra Denali had rear axle steering, and it was fine...... Am I getting the real story?

According to BMW engineers, there isn't enough room on the xDrive implementation to have xDrive AND IAS on the same rear axle...

c'mon engineers!
must have a different rear diff or something. Seems like the significant difference with X Drive would be on the front. Thanks for the info.
