I wonder if the long wheelbase version will look better.

Very underwhelming. I thought BMW was going to come out swinging after seeing what Mercedes Benz did with the S-class

I think people will warm up to it

Isn't this the lowest spec anyway?

Now if it has lost the weight and drives amazing well then... It looks like it has a lower cD so I'm sure it gets better fuel economy

I wonder what the M7 looks like

Haha I was heavily hated on for critiquing this car, yet it turned out exactly as i called it. Underwhelming and underdressed for the party. The interior is seriously lacking at this price point. The body looks like a Lexus LS met a Hyundai at a drunk party and this was the bastard child.

One of you guys to say this but naw.. No one did.

ANYWAYS BRUH. This is obviously a pre production model.. Tires and wheels aren't even for the car. Interior looks like a current 7 series interior with a few changes, it
Could be that they were testing drivetrain and suspension with this model when it was caught.

And, I doubt this was a "spy shot". you think BMW will let a car leave the factory or whatever without camo? They could of possibly let this slide
On purpose, to gain hype and maybe surprise us. BMW talks about next generation 7 series with a lot of confidence.

I'm digging the new headlights (although don't think they should touch grill), digging the new Foglights, digging the rear end a lot but I don't like that chrome strip. I HATE chrome on cars. HATEEEE. I vinyl wrap all chrome on my cars.

Anyways, good car overall. But this is obviously pre production.. And not the final product.

SCOTT WHERE U AT BUDDY LOOKING FOR YOUR FEEDBACK REGARDING THIS CAR!!!!!!

arty00 30:

WHERE ARE YOU SCOTT26

POST HERE states exiting interior parts standing in for final detail.

POST HERE states more hot air marketing talk and saying interior is current and prototype parts for now as they are mainly focus to developing a chassis now with the prototype car!? Bunch of horse..shi

AND HERE stating the interior pics of the prototype car floating around will be different and more upscale. Me and other members have stated historically any pics of interior of prototype cars have always been the same. Maybe the treatment or color is different but fundamental design is the same. This guy trying to play off they use interior parts of existing cars for now as the test car works out its kinks. Stupid development life cycle doesn't make any sense from this guy.

All new(F/G) BMWs looks worse than old ones apart from 2,4 series(which wasn't exist before) and five, the old 6 series doesn't look pretty at front but it has the best rear end I have ever seen on a coupe, the new 6 looks ugly from every angle(and the side is the same as old one)

Production M-Sport Photo's - Positive "OMG, I LOVE THE NEW BMW XYZ M-SPORT, BEST LOOKING BMW EVAR!"

I should really save this in a notepad or something.

----

Looks nice to me, sure its a boring "luxury" model, still, looks like nice contemporary BMW that should age well. Can't wait to see what the Laser Lights look like lit up and curious if the price for them will still be as high as for the i8.

Sure, Brand XYZ's model ABC might be pretty hot right now, today, but BMW has a talent of making cars who's designs stand the test of time. Check out Brand XYZ's previous model ABC and see how dated it looks. Sure, in part because of the new model ABC, but also in part because their designs are too crazy and their cars just don't age well. When people look ask me what year my e46 is they tend to not believe that the car is 11 (nearly 12) years old.

If wild crazy designs are what you crave, then BMW is not the right brand for you, go with Brand XYZ, Lexus or whatever else is supposedly on the same "level" as the 7er, and enjoy it until they release the G11 M-Sport.

EDIT: Also, call me crazy, but it seems like Brand XYZ is trying to combine their regular sedans and gran-coupe sedans, morphing them into one car, where BMW is still making them both. So perhaps Brand XYZ's model ABC should be compared to the rumored Gran-Coupe like 7er that is rumored for future production, not necessarily the G11. Perhaps the G11 is better suited for BMW's traditional customers.
Well said. Everyone is so quick to jump to conclusions and assumptions off of a few shots taken in poor lighting. I think the car looks great for the demographic that BMW is targeting.

idk why I care so much because I'll definitely be looking for a P car next. Maybe I'll return to BMW when I'm more mature. That seems to be their target market anyways.
