Italdesign Giugiaro S.p.A's co-founder Giorgetto Giugiaro is credited as being responsible for the design of many well-known automobiles
Among them, is the legendary BMW M1, BMW's first and only supercar, and the first BMW wearing the famed M-badge.

This video from the official Italdesign Giugiaro S.p.A Youtube channel explores the background behind the M1's development and features an interview with Giorgetto Giugiaro himself.

Thanks for sharing the video. Always interesting to see, on how cars and their design started.
So hard to recreate those lines today, with all of the regulations for safety.
